Description

My Old Banger is a commercial PC game set to release on Steam in 2024. The game combines car restoration mechanics with life simulation elements, all set against the backdrop of 1990s Britain. Players will face the challenges of restoring a classic British car while navigating the unique cultural landscape of the era.

Working remotely with another developer and a designer/artist, we're creating an immersive experience that captures both the technical aspects of car restoration and the social nuances of British life in the 90s.

Development & Features

As the producer and lead developer on the title, my role is predominantly focused on the delivery of high-quality systems & features using modern software development methodologies. This entails the cycle of planning a new system, prototyping it, then implementing it from start to finish to work both in a singleplayer and networked setting.

Due to the prospective commercial release of this game, source code cannot be shared but I am more than happy to discuss the direction, features and development process of this game.
